About the author
For many years, Herta Margarete Habsburg-Lothringen has dedicated herself to peace, nature, animals, and the preservation of cultural and traditional values. As founder and president of the non-profit organization Flame of Peace (established in 2008), she presents the prestigious International Peace Award and helps create monuments dedicated to understanding and reconciliation worldwide. In addition, her association supports international projects that foster dialogue, cultural exchange, and cooperation across borders. Her mission is to safeguard and pass on the knowledge of past generations, and for this lifelong commitment she has received numerous honors, including the Golden Decoration of Merit of the Republic of Austria.
